The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces the scheduled paving on a portion of State Route 33 through parts of Coalinga in Fresno County. The following will occur Tuesday, May 13th: 1. One Way Traffic Control will be in place at N. Garfield Street to S. Fifth Street for paving of northbound State Route 33. a. Access to State Route 33 at N. Hachman Street, N. Pine Street, and Hayes Street will be blocked during paving operation. b. Paving operation will occur between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm c. Motorists are to not park their vehicles within work zones limits as “No Parking” barricades will be placed along curb side during operation. The following will occur Wednesday, May 14th: 2. One Way Traffic Control will be in place at S. Fifth Street to N. Garfield Street for paving of southbound State Route 33. a. Access to State Route 33 at Warthan Street, S. Hachman Street, and S. Garfield Street will be blocked during paving operation. b. Paving operation will occur between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm c. Motorists are to not park their vehicles within work zones limits as “No Parking” barricades will be placed along curb side during operation. The following will occur Thursday, May 15th: 3. The #2 lane of southbound State Route 33 from Cambridge Avenue to Cherry Lane will be closed for paving. a. Access to Cambridge Avenue will remain open during paving operation. b. Paving operation will occur between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm c. Motorists are advised to plan accordingly. Closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur. |
