Irrigation Systems Management - Non Credit

The Irrigation System Management Certificate of Completion provides the fundamental knowledge and skills for a person to work with advanced irrigation systems to ensure its safe operation, proper functions, and long term usage.  Courses focus on operation and maintenance of the entire irrigation system for the purpose of upgrading the skills of current field workers or irrigators. Technology, including automated irrigation, will be a component of this certificate.

Program Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to:

  1. Students will use an automated system to control the irrigation of agricultural crops.
  2. Students will demonstrate the proper maintenance of water delivery systems.
  3. Students will explain the factors required for proper operation of a filter station.
