Transition to College for Students With Disabilities
GS 100 will assist students with disabilities in preparing for initial semester in
a community college. Navigation of West Hills College-Coalinga campus, resources,
academic policies, procedures, and services. Course content with cover issues related
to accommodations and resources available to students with disabilities to enable
them to be successful in a college setting, including disability evaluation and assessment,
alternative media, course selection, and scheduling.

GS 102 is a course designed primarily for students with learning disabilities. This
non-transferrable, non-degree applicable course offers both group and individual instruction

may repeat this course as many times as necessary to achieve course objectives.
