Entry Level Truck Driving- Certificate of Achievement
The Certificate of Achievement in Entry Level Truck Driving program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and experience necessary to earn a Class A CDL (Commercial Drivers License). Students log time behind the wheel on the driving range and on public roads and highways prior to graduation. Career opportunities for students exist in the agricultural, industrial, construction, and supply chain.
Program student learning outcomes:
- Students will perform all equipment safety checks.
- Students will identify all parts and safety components of a commercial combination vehicle.
- Students will operate a commercial combination vehicle on range and public roads.
